Keep your fuel pick-up submerged in fuel by controlling fuel slosh. This square aluminum trap door is designed to be used as a fuel inlet when fabricating a surge tank.
The one-way door allows fuel to flow in one direction but does not allow it to flow back. Free-swinging (not spring-loaded) door requires a minimum of pressure to open, but the sloped sealing surface and an O-ring gasket provide a tight seal when closed. The 10-32 mounting screws are secured to the aluminum plate so you do not need access to the inside of the surge tank for installation.
