The Tilton OT-II Dual Disc Rally Clutch is a very high-quality open style 7 1/4" diameter clutch. The aluminum cover is much lighter and stiffer than the stamped steel cover used on the AP racing clutch. The rally style is designed to allow more modulation than in the standard OT-II racing clutch. This assembly includes the cover, pressure plate, and floater plate. Cerametallic clutch discs and bolts are sold separately. Requires specially modified flywheel.

The lightweight Buff spring / Ultra-High Ratio pressure plate combination provides moderate clamping force without excessive pedal force. The ultra-high ratio plate also requires more pedal travel to release, which allows for better modulation control. With a standard 44mm release bearing, this clutch requires 520 pounds of hydraulic pressure to release, but it is still rated for cars producing up to 480 lb-ft of torque.

Racing clutches require high pedal force to actuate. Cable operated release mechanisms may not work. This clutch is appropriate for use with an external slave cylinder or with a Tilton Hydraulic Release Bearing with a 44mm contact diameter bearing.
