The ECU Bridge makes it easy to get data from your car's ECU to your AiM SmartyCam (up to Rev 2.1) or AiM G-Dash display (not included). Just a few simple wiring connections will get you up and running.
Connecting to the ECU allows the AiM unit access to data collected by your ECU (RPM, road speed, coolant temperature, and throttle position are typical; many ECUs offer much more information). Works with older AiM displays with a male 5-pin CAN connector, including the MXL Dash Display, G-Dash Display, and the original Formula Car Wheel Display. SmartyCam requires the AiM 7-pin to 5-pin CAN Cable (Part No. MC-542, included with the SmartyCam).
The ECU Bridge also features a special port for a USB cable (included) for easy connection to your computer for setup.
Note1 : The ECU Bridge does not log any data.
Note 2: The ECU Bridge is not compatible with SmartyCam 2.2, SmarrtyCam 3 Series, GS-Dash, Formula Wheel v3, SW4 Logger Wheels, Solo/SoloDL, Solo2/Solo2DL, MX-Series dash loggers, MX-Series Strada dashes, EVO Series loggers, PDM, or PDM Displays.
