Brand: Facet-Purolator
Also known as the "Silver Top" cylindrical pump, the classic Facet (formerly Bendix) Gold-Flo model 476087 fuel pump is ideal for most domestic street cars and trucks running a 4-barrel carburetor (Carter, Rochester, Holley, etc).
Facet Cylindrical pumps have low power requirements (about 1.6 amp at 12 volts) and operate without troublesome seals or diaphragms. Built-in pressure relief means no flooding after shutting down a hot engine. Facet pumps are compatible with gasoline, alcohol blends (up to and including E85), diesel, biodiesel, and fuel additives.
Maximum fuel delivery 36 gallons per hour. Maximum pressure 4 to 5 psi. Typical flow 23 gallons per hour at 2 psi. This fuel delivery is sufficient for engines producing 150 to 200 HP. Use two pumps in parallel for higher output engines. 1/8 NPT female ports. 24 inch vertical dry lift. Negative ground (12v) only. (This is the negative-ground version of the old Bendix 476090 positive-ground "Silver Cap" pump).
This pump has no anti-siphon valve, so fuel can be drawn through when the pump is off. It also has no internal one-way valve, so fuel can flow backwards through the pump when off (draining back to the tank). An internal 74 micron filter is already installed. Facet pump number 476087 (E)*. This pump can also replace Facet pump number 476410 (E), 478360 (E), 480516 (E)*, and 480591 (E)*. This pump is also sold under Kohler part number 247076 and Onan number 149-0554. Military NSN number 2910-00-915-4818.
* Note: The Facet “Interruptor” style pumps now feature reliable solid-state technology instead of points! The "E" stands for "Electronic".
Beware of counterfeits! We only sell Genuine Facet pumps - not the unreliable foreign knock-offs sold elsewhere.

* Facet pumps 480516 (E) and 480591 (E) each had special connectors on the positive wire, which this pump does not. All other specifications are the same.
