This Ford Racing wet sump oil pump delivers higher volume than the standard pump for the Ford 289/302 smallblock V8. Requires oil pick-up tube (not included).

Note: Using this pump with standard bearing clearances can cause abnormally high oil pressure, which in turn can cause premature wear to the distributor drive gear. Ford Racing recommends running slightly looser bearing clearances to prevent overpressure.

A new pump drive shaft is included with this pump, but you may want to consider using our ARP High-Strength Oil Pump Drive Shaft for Ford 289-302, Part No. ARP154-7904 (sold separately) for added reliability.
