These chrome plated valve stems fit most steel, cast, and modular wheels. The nut is on the outside so that tightness can be checked without dismounting the tire. Length is approximately 1" to 1.2" above the rim depending on the rim thickness. Rubber bushings included for both large (5/8") and small (7/16") rim holes (large hole bushing shown at right). Outside diameter of flange is 3/4". Sold individually.
Shortly before the 2004 SCCA Runoffs© I watched a Formula Vee touch wheels with another car on the first lap of a qualifying session. The only damage to either car was a broken rubber valve stem on the FV. The resulting flat tire cost him the entire session. These valve stems are cheap insurance!
