Holley fuel pressure regulators help to ensure a constant, steady flow of gas to the carburetor regardless of variations in fuel pump output pressure. This "dead-head" type regulator has a single inlet port on the bottom and two side outlet ports to make it easy to connect multiple carburetors, or two float bowls of a 4-barrel. Single-carb applications can either plug the second outlet port or use it for a fuel pressure gauge (sold separately). It is not designed for use with a return line to the tank.
This 1-4 psi model is preset to approximately 2.7 psi. With the aid of an accurate pressure gauge, it can be easily adjusted as required within its specified range. For best results, we recommend pairing it with a fuel pump capable of supplying twice the desired pressure (e.g., for 2.7 psi, the pump should put out at least 5 psi). Maximum inlet pressure 7.2 psi.
All of the ports are 3/8 NPT female. Includes a mounting bracket, 3 sheet metal screws (for attaching the bracket to the car), and 2 self-tapping screws (for attaching the regulator to the bracket). Note that the mounting holes in the regulator are not tapped from the factory, which is why self-tapping screws are included.
