This adapter provides a convenient location for installing the sensor bulb from a mechanical temperature gauge. The adapter has a 5/8-18 threaded port for mechanical temperature gauges. Choose male AN or male BSP (BSPP, British Standard Pipe Parallel) fittings to suit your plumbing. Each measures 4 1/2" to 4 3/4" long (depending on fitting size) x 2 1/4" wide x 2 3/4" deep.
Note: Auto Meter and Stewart-Warner gauges (as well as some other brands) require our Temperature Gauge Adapter (Part No. 1209) to seal properly.
Racetech mechanical gauges can use this adapter when equipped with our Raceparts 3/8 BSP to 5/8-18 Temperature Bulb Adapter (Part No. 1098). This combination will not require the Part No. 1209 adapter.
