These self-contained extinguishers require no piping or electrical power. They utilize a UL listed quartzoid release bulb for automatic thermal activation if the temperature exceeds 155°F (68°C). A sprinkler head helps disperse the clean DuPont™ FE-36™ extinguishant upon discharge. They are perfect for trailers, RV's, spray booths, workshops, or in the vicinity of the fuel cell in a race car. A mounting bracket is included. Simply mount it to the wall, and you're covered! DOT approved. The 5 pound unit covers approximately 200 cubic feet; the 10 pound is recommended for spaces up to 400 cubic feet.
DuPont™ FE-36™ is an environmentally-friendly gaseous extinguishing agent. It is non-ozone depleting, leaves no residue, and requires no clean up.
