These power packs are used with SPA and FireBottle electrically-actuated fire systems. Each uses a standard 9V battery (included), so no connection to vehicle power is required. A 2-step self-test feature checks the battery condition and verifies proper wiring. Both self-tests should be run prior to every session. The power pack should be mounted where it will be accessible enough for the driver to arm just prior to hitting the track and disarm after returning to the paddock.

DIN connectors are about 1/2" diameter with 3 pins. FireBottle fire suppression systems used the DIN connector. Note: Power packs with the DIN plug are no longer available. FireBottle discontinued their electrical systems in 2010.
Hirose connectors are about 3/8" diameter with 4 pins.
Hirschmann connectors are about 1/4" diameter with 3 pins. SPA fire suppression systems currently use the Hirschmann connector.
