Nadella bearings are used in many racecar applications because of their small size, low weight, and high load capacity. These thin thrust-only bearings feature needle rollers arranged radially around the bore to support axial thrust. Separate support bearings (not included) will be required to support radial loads.
Nadella bearings require lubrication before use. A high-quality lithium-based, EP, or synthetic bearing grease is recommended when these bearings are used as suspension pivots. Higher rotational speeds with lower load (such as supporting rotating shafts inside machines) may require oil lubrication.

* Note: In order to achieve rated capacity and life, the mating surfaces should have a smooth finish with a Rockwell hardness between C58 and C64. We offer matching Thin Nadella Thrust Washers (Part No. 3081) and Thick Nadella Thrust Washers (Part No. 3082) separately to provide the proper hardness and finish for these bearings.
