White background circles like these have been used for many years to make racecar numbers easier to read. Some racing organizations require them. Magnetic material clings well to any smooth steel surface and removes easily with no damage at the end of the day. Use with our custom Vinyl Graphics (Part No. 33-Size-Black, sold separately) to easily identify your vehicle.
Note: Multiple layers of paint can build up enough thickness to reduce the magnetic attraction of these circles. Also, if there's a significant amount of Bondo® beneath the paint, all bets are off! If you're worried about the strength of the magnetic attraction, a few small pieces of clear packing tape on the leading edge of the circle can help prevent high speed airflow from getting beneath the circle and peeling it off.
