These rebuild kits fit our Girling Clutch Slave Cylinders (Part No. 3520) and the Girling Cobra/Tiger/Aston Martin Clutch Slave Cylinder (Part No. 3519-001). They will not work with any other brand.
Application Notes:
The .75" bore size is not very common. This type was OEM on the Ford Escort "Mexico" rally special from the 1960s.
The .87" bore size was originally used on Hewland and Webster Mk-Series, FG-Series, FT 200, and DG 300 transaxles. This size also fits the Cobra/Tiger/Aston Martin slave (Part No. 3519-001).
The EPDM seals are formulated to work with any DOT-rated brake fluid (not for use with hydraulic oil). Each kit is enough to rebuild one slave cylinder.
Note: Girling made many different models of slave cylinders over the decades, and these kits were intended to cover several types (but not all). Not all models which use these rebuild kits will use the circlip. Neither of our slave cylinders use it.
