This one-way check valve is most often used to prevent back flow of oil from an Accusump Oil Accumulator through the oil pump*. It is ideal for use in oil systems because the spring-loaded ball allows flow with very little restriction in one direction, but positively stops flow in the other direction. 1 psi nominal cracking pressure. 1/2 NPT female threaded inlet and outlet ports accept a wide variety of adapters (sold separately).

* Note: Cannot be used if the Accusump is connected directly to the engine block with a single hose. Only use this valve if the Accusump is plumbed into an existing oil line using a Tee fitting.
