Button Head Cap Screw

The button head version of the "Allen" screw provides a low profile, streamlined appearance with a standard (non-countersunk) hole. These screws should only be used in low tension applications. They have a reduced size hex socket which can make proper tightening difficult. For this reason, we recommend always using a self-locking nut (Part No.'s AN364, AN365, MS21047, or MS21042) or Loctite (Blue) Threadlocker, Part No. LT-24221. Stocked in 10-32 and 1/4-28 UNF sizes, black oxide finish only. All sizes are threaded the full length of the shank.

10-32 Size: Head diameter 0.355". Accepts 1/8" Allen key.
1/4-28 Size: Head diameter 0.435". Accepts 5/32" Allen Key.
