Aluminum Kart Tie Rod - specify size & length

These high-quality anodized aluminum rods are strong enough for use as tie rods on racing karts, but they are ideal for many other uses as well. We offer several different lengths with either 3/8-24 or 5/16-24 (UNF) female threads to suit a variety of applications. They make excellent wing stays, spoiler or diffuser supports, or adjustable shift linkages. Small formula cars (such as vintage Formula Ford) can even use them as sway bar end links.

The 3/8-24 size has an outside diameter of 5/8 inch and is anodized black. The 5/16-24 size has an outside diameter of 1/2 inch and may be black or silver anodized (sorry, no color choice). Both sizes have Left-Hand threads on one end and Right-Hand threads on the other end to allow quick length adjustments without removing the attachment bolts. Milled wrench flats are also provided at one end.
