Brand: Aurora Bearing Company
These lightweight, high-performance bearings are for moderately stressed joints. The ball is heat treated and hard chrome plated alloy steel. The 7075-T651 aluminum body is hard anodized (anodizing color may vary from photo), and the steel race is coated for corrosion protection. The race does not have a PTFE liner, so they require periodic lubrication and should be protected from dirt and moisture.
These rod ends compare favorably against our standard low-carbon steel rod ends (Aurora MM/MB Series) in terms of weight and radial load rating -- approximately 40% lighter and 15% stronger on average. They are ideal for lower stressed or non-critical uses such as shift linkage supports. Male threaded solid shanks only. Typical male rod end shown in photo. Aurora ALM (right hand threads) and ALB (left hand threads) series.
Sold individually; jam nuts are not included.
