Brand: Aurora Bearing Company
These economical yet high precision bearings are for moderately stressed joints. The ball is heat treated and hard chrome plated alloy steel. The low carbon steel body and race limit the load rating to substantially less than our high-strength alloy rod ends, but they are a great choice in lower stressed or non-critical uses such as shift linkage supports. Note that these rod ends do not have a PTFE liner and will require periodic lubrication. The unlined race is looser than the PTFE-lined version, which can be an advantage in many low-stress applications. Male threaded solid shanks only. Typical male rod end shown in photo. Aurora MM (right hand threads) and MB (left hand threads) series.
