The Alpinestars Hypertech v3 is a top-level driver's suit designed for comfort. Two layers of flame-retardant aramid fabrics protect while remaining light and breathable. The new inner layer is even softer and more comfortable than on the v2. Nomex® stretch panels developed for Formula 1 at the elbows, waist, knees, and in the crotch provide freedom of movement and ventilation. A new knitting technology makes the cuffs extra-light and lower-profile for greater comfort. Even the Alpinestars logos are printed (not embroidered) to eliminate excess weight and bulk.

The matte (non-shiny) outer layer is available in three color combinations:
Black/Dark Shadow is very dark grey (almost black) with white and silver trim and logos.
Mid Gray is medium grey with white and fluorescent orange trim and logos.
White/Black/Silver is white with silver and grey trim and logos.

All colors have black stretch inserts and black wrist and ankle cuffs.

Certified to FIA 8856-2018 standards. European sizing; see chart below.
