Motul TWIN Primary Chaincase Oil is a 100% synthetic oil formulated specifically to protect the primary chain drive components on American "Big Twin" motorcycles.
The triple-synthetic formula (ester, PAO, and GRP3 bases) has been created to handle the combined duties of lubricating the chain, protecting the clutch basket and sprockets, and providing just the right amount of friction for smooth and predictable wet-clutch operation regardless of temperature.
Motul TWIN Primary Chaincase Oil meets API SL standards and JASO MA2 specifications and is rated as a 10W40 viscosity oil (85W gear lube). TWIN is fully compatible with synthetic and mineral oils. That means you can top up with whatever is available when you're on the road, but Motul recommends changing the mixed oil as soon as possible to restore performance.
