The Universe TS-8 from Sabelt is a professional 2-layer driver's suit with a club racing price tag. The outer layer is an extremely light woven flame-resistant material (the same material on the top-of-the-line Sabelt TS-10 Ultralight suit). The fire-retardant inner layer is soft knit for protection with comfort, without adding excess bulk. Both layers have been developed by Sabelt with input from leading pro race drivers. The resulting sandwich weighs just 310 grams per square meter -- lighter than many competitors' most expensive suits! Full-floating sleeves and an elastic panel in the small of the back provide freedom of movement, and precurved sleeves avoid bunching while driving. The collar is a little lower than on most other suits for a less restrictive feel. Even the knit wrist and ankle cuffs have been made lighter.

The matte (non-shiny) outer layer is available in Black, Blue, Red, or White. All colors have black knit wrist and ankle cuffs, black knit insert panels, and black-on-yellow Sabelt logos. All colors except White have white epaulets and white accent graphics on the sleeves, torso sides, and legs; White has black accents.
