Totim Racing has revolutionized how custom-fit racing seat inserts are made! These unique kits are fully sealed (no measuring and no mess) inside an FIA fire-resistant bag (no additional covering required) and can be fitted in as little as 30 minutes with no other tools required. You don't even need a helper!
Each kit consists of pre-packaged, pre-measured 2-part polyurethane that expands when mixed. You never touch the chemicals! Just break the seal between the two portions and knead the bag until the expanding foam causes the inner pouch to pop (about 50 seconds). Put the bag in the car and let it expand for another 40-50 seconds. Finally, put the driver in the car and let the bag expand to fit the driver (15 to 20 minutes, depending on kit size). The insert is ready for use or trimming after 40 minutes of cure time. You could make your custom-fitted insert start to finish during the lunch break!
The T3090 Series is the most popular of the Totim line. These kits have the second-largest bag, measuring 120cm x 90cm (47 1/4" x 35 1/2"). Recommended for F4, Radical, GT, LMP/Prototypes, and Spec Racer.
Size S contains 1.7kg of foam to suit large drivers.
Size M contains 2.1kg of foam to fit medium drivers.
Size L contains 2.3kg of foam to take up large amounts of space around small drivers.
When in doubt, choose the larger kit! It is easy to trim off excess material from an insert, but it is not possible to add material to an insert.
