Airframe (AN) Bolts
We stock a large selection of AN bolts with drilled or undrilled heads and shanks. These fasteners are manufactured to rigorous quality control standards from raw material to final plating. They offer a combination of properties that are simply not available in SAE graded hardware. They have a tensile strength of 125,000 psi and a shear strength of 76,000 psi, but the most important difference is that they are not as brittle as SAE bolts. If they are overstressed, AN bolts will bend first rather than snapping. This could mean the difference between getting back to the pits and hitting the wall!
We are constantly growing this segment of our inventory so if you cannot find what you're looking for, feel free to contact us for availability.
AN bolt nomenclature can be confusing. Please take a look at our page on Identifying AN Bolt Sizes.
