5" x 3" Vitaloni Side Mirrors
Pegasus offers three styles of Vitaloni side mirrors with oval 5" tall by 3" wide convex or flat lenses:
The Californian mirror has been widely used on formula cars and sports racers. They have also been used on many street cars. The Californian mirror features a lens that is easily adjustable inside the housing. The housing also pivots up and down at the mounting flange (the stem and housing are one piece). The black matte finish can be painted if desired. Sold individually. Look for the Californian mirrors on Nikki Lauda's Ferrari 312T/2 in the movie Rush!
The Baby Turbo mirror has been a popular choice for a variety of racing vehicles, from Italian specials to the SCCA Spec Racer. The compact, aerodynamic shape is both good looking and functional. The very flexible joint at the mounting base allows adjustment for a wide range of setups. The joint is spring-loaded, so you can adjust it on the fly. The joint is also located halfway up the side of the mirror, which makes the Baby Turbo reversible for right or left side mounting. The black finish can be painted if desired. Sold individually.
The Sebring Mach 1 mirror can be mounted directly on a fender or on a raised platform, as on many Can-Am and other sports racers (including the original SCCA Spec Racer design). Porsche mounted the Mach I directly to the door on the 911RSR. The same mirror can be used for right or left side use. This allows you to purchase just one spare to cover both sides of the car. The mirror lens is mounted on a ball socket within the plastic housing, so it can be manually adjusted. Available in black or chrome finish. The black finish can be painted if desired. Sold individually.
