Tilton 78-Series Rear Pivot Master Cylinders & Rebuild Kits
The revolutionary 77-Series and 78-Series master cylinders from Tilton are lightweight and compact. The unique pivoting rear mount and one-piece pushrod/piston unit eliminate unwanted sideways loads in the bore. This eliminates friction and provides the smoothest, most consistent master cylinder action available.
Outlet port is 3AN (3/8-24); inlet thread is 6AN (9/16-18). Despite the compact size, 77-Series and 78-Series master cylinders deliver a full 1.1" stroke.
Note: Tilton 77-Series and 78-Series master cylinders are designed to be used with Tilton 900-Series pedal assemblies and balance bars. They will not work with conventional pedal setups, and the 3/8-24 pushrod will not work with conventional balance bars (conventional pushrod threads are 5/16-24).
