Hex Type Quick-Release Steering Wheel Hubs
A quick-release steering wheel makes it much easier to get in and out of a crowded cockpit in a hurry. Hex-type quick-releases are simple, economical, and rugged. They are easy to rebuild, and the fit can even be tightened up if it starts to loosen -- simply support the center hex by holding a heavy hammer against one hex point, and strike the opposite hex point with a smaller hammer.
