Swaging and Removal Tools for Spherical Bearings
Certain spherical bearings with a groove on either side of the outer race are designed to be staked permanently into the housing. This type of installation is required in order to meet NAS 0331 Method 100 or MIL-STD-1599 standards. Special tools are required to swage the bearing into the housing, test the installation, and remove the bearing when it wears. These are the special tools.
These high-quality, American-made tools are designed to fit Aurora (ANC-xTG or PNB-xTG "narrow", AWC-xTG or PWB-xTG "wide", or HAB-xTG "high misalignment") and NHBB (ABT-xV "narrow", ABWT-xV "wide", or ABYT-xV "high-misalignment") spherical bearings in SAE sizes only. They will also work on other brands conforming to MS-14101 or MS-14103 standards.
