Tilton 700-Series Hydraulic Release Bearings
Pilot tube mount
The 700-Series hydraulic release bearings from Tilton are designed to slip over a 1 3/8" (35mm) OD transmission pilot tube. A special quad-section O-ring holds the assembly in place. These assemblies are ideally suited to many Honda applications.
Always use a clutch pedal stop with an HRB! Overtravel of the pedal causes a huge spike in line pressure. This can be strong enough to destroy clutch fingers. Even worse, it can push the crankshaft forward and grind up the thrust bearings. This can quickly lead to a loss of oil pressure and a loss of an engine.
