This rebuild kit fits all Tilton hydraulic release bearings except the 9000 series. This includes:

The rubber compounds are formulated to work with DOT-rated brake fluid (not for use with hydraulic oil). Includes piston seal (black) and piston wiper (orange). One kit is enough to rebuild one HRB.

Save your seals and your sanity! If you need to rebuild multiple HRBs, the Tilton HRB Seal Installation Tool Kit (Part No. TE 96-002, sold separately) saves time and effort.

Note: Tilton specifically recommends against the use of super-high-temp brake fluid (DOT 5.1 fluids such as Castrol SRF) with these seals. They report longer seal life when DOT 4 fluids are used.
