Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies was born from the frustration of missing races while waiting for backordered parts. As racers, we understand that you can't anticipate when a critical part will break. We also know firsthand that the last thing you need is a supplier letting you down. You will notice that every product on our website has a field called Stock Status, which will either say "In Stock", "Not In Stock - notify me when available", or (in rare cases) "Drop Ship". This was a revolutionary feature when we introduced it some 20 years ago. A lot of companies have tried to follow in our footsteps. But there's a catch... We have found that in too many cases, their "in stock" actually means "in stock at a drop-shipping warehouse." The warehouse might be a master distributor or even the manufacturer, but not the retailer. In other words, their website may say "in stock" even if they don't have it. What they really mean to say is "we hope the manufacturer has it in stock, because we don't!" And what happens if the manufacturer is out of the product? YOU are out of luck! When we say "In Stock", we mean "It's here, RIGHT NOW, on our shelf; we know where it is and how many we have -- we can even walk over and touch it!"
