Setrab SLM coolers are designed specifically for the tight packaging requirements of modern race cars. The offset inlet and outlet fittings allow you to position the inlet higher than the outlet for use in a low-pressure system. They are especially recommended for cooling transmissions, rear axles, and the low-pressure side of power steering systems.
The "slimline" SLM series features the same brazed aluminum construction, handsome black epoxy finish, and female M22x1.5 O-ring ports as our other Setrab coolers. The ports are located on the side tanks for optimum low-pressure flow. Fittings are sold separately.
This narrow 10-row cooler measures 8 1/4" long (9" with inlet/outlet hexes) x 4" tall x 1 9/16" thick (1 1/4" core thickness). Two M6x1.0 studs are provided on the top for mounting.
Note: All oil coolers are relatively fragile. Care must be taken to avoid stressing the fittings when tightening connections (always use a backup wrench on the cooler fitting). The cooler should be mounted in a manner that will minimize vibration.
