The Compact 75 Series Tilton Master Cylinder is similar to our Tilton 74 Series Universal Master Cylinder (Part No. 3505-Size) but extends only 3.2" from the mounting surface to the front outlet port. It is perfect for installations that don't have room for the full-size 74-Series. Despite the compact size, the 75 Series provides a full 1.1" stroke -- the same as the full-size 74 Series! These single-circuit master cylinders can be used for either clutch or brakes. The EPDM seals are formulated to work with any DOT-rated brake fluid (not for use with hydraulic oil).
This complete kit includes a 6.8 oz. reservoir, plus everything needed for mounting the reservoir remotely or directly on the master. The translucent plastic reservoir allows easy fluid level inspection. The aluminum body is hard anodized for long life, with a standard 2-bolt mounting flange (2 1/4" vertical bolt spacing). The front-facing outlet port has standard 3/8-24 threads to accept common brake line sizes (adapters for 3AN and 3/16 inverted flare brake lines are included). If all of this doesn't convince you that this is a great value, consider that the rebuild kits even include a replacement piston!
