This adjustable wrench from Beta Tools works double-duty as a high-quality adjustable wrench, and as a quick and rugged caliper! When you tighten the adjustable jaw onto your fastener, the size of the fastener is shown on an etched scale (inches on one side, millimeters on the other). The scale is handy for sizing almost anything when you don't want to dig out your fragile dial caliper. The black phosphate finish withstands abuse and looks great with the polished jaws.
The jaw opens to a maximum of 34mm (1 5/16"), large enough to fit virtually all plumbing fittings up to 10AN or 1/2 BSP, or jam nuts up to 3/4-16 thread size. Overall length 250mm (10"), jaw thickness 16mm (5/8") maximum. Meets DIN 3117 and ISO 6787 specifications.
Note: The adjuster mechanism on this wrench rotates counter-clockwise to tighten the jaws. The Beta 111 and 111G wrenches, like most others, rotate the pin clockwise to tighten.
