This easy-to-install controller unit from Davies Craig can run one or two electric fans, or even an electric water pump! The temperature probe gets installed in the radiator fins, so there is no need to cut or disconnect any hoses.
An LED readout displays the set temperature or the actual temperature measured by the sensor probe in either Celsius or Fahrenheit. The controller can be set to turn the fan on anywhere between 40° C and 110° C (104° F to 230° F). The second fan (if installed) will turn on 10 seconds after the first fan starts. The fan(s) will run until the coolant temperature drops by 1° C. One fan can also be triggered by the air conditioning compressor clutch.
The controller is tailored for use with Davies Craig Electric Fans (sold separately), but it can run fans of any brand. It can even be used with an electric coolant pump, although it will only turn the pump on and off (it will not vary pump speed).
Controller kit includes the controller with two 12v 40 amp relays built in, compact temperature sensing probe, radiator fin mount hardware for the probe, wiring connectors, and instructions. Fan(s) and pump sold separately.
NOTE: When using in 24v applications, the 12v relays built into this kit must be removed and replaced with 24v relays.
