These sturdy snap ring pliers from Beta Tools are designed to spread external snap rings (circlips) from 40mm to 100mm (1 9/16" to 4") ID. Most cheaper pliers have much thinner jaws and handles, more like stamped sheet metal than a proper tool. These Beta 1037 Series snap ring pliers have strong, forged construction so they will not fold up in use!

The heavy-duty jaws taper down to 3/32" (2.3mm) diameter pins. The jaws are bent to work with the plier handles at a 45 degree angle to the shaft. The PVC-coated handles are sprung to close the jaws when you let go for easy one-handed use. 8 7/8" overall length. Black oxide finish with Beta orange handles.
