The 39BA Series wedges from Beta Tools are constructed of non-sparking copper-beryllium (Cu-Be) for safe use in potenially explosive environments.

This 39BA/150 Cu-Be wedge measures 250mm (9 7/8") long (L) with a 40mm (1 9/16") wide blade (A). The entire length is tapered, with no handle or gripping portion. This is the largest 39BA series wedge available. Sold individually.

Note: Copper-beryllium tools are not safe for use in contact with acetylene. Acetylene can react with the copper to form copper acetylide, a powerful and very dangerous explosive.
