The plastic cases supplied with the L-handle hex keys from the hardware store are handy, but they soon wear out and you're left dropping the keys everywhere. What's worse is that the holes that wear out are the sizes you use most often. The 96BPA/SC9 set from Beta Tools includes a brilliantly-engineered folding case that locks all the keys in place when you snap it closed.
The heart of this clever case is a molded strip on the inside of each half. Closing the case forces the strips against the keys to positively lock them in place. When you open the case, pressure is released and the case acts like an ordinary holder.
The 96BPA Series "Allen" hex keys from Beta Tools are designed for professional use. The satin chrome finish looks great and wipes down easily. The short leg and the extended leg of the L-handle both have the same metric hex. The short leg is extra-short, with a 110° angle to the extended leg for access in cramped areas. The extended leg has a ball profile that allows up to 30 degrees of misalignment. This can help with access in restricted situations, and it also makes the key easier to "spin" between your fingers.
