If you need to cut small-diameter, thin-wall plastic tubing, a swing-type cutter with a wheel might be overkill. The Model 341B ratcheting shears from Beta Tools are designed to easily cut plastic tubing up to 1 3/8" diameter.

The ratcheting mechanism gives you a mechanical advantage, requiring less hand strength than single-pull shears do. Each squeeze of the pistol-grip handle advances the blade a little farther towards the anvil. The ratchet releases when the tubing is cut, but a manual release lets you abort the cutting operation. The blade is easily replaced when it gets dull or damaged. Measures 195mm (7 11/16") long overall. Weighs 616g (1 lb 6 oz). Beta orange. The model number is printed in black on the side.
