This special oversized tap from Beta Tools is designed for rescuing automotive oil pans with damaged M18 drain plug threads. The M20 tap removes the stripped 18x1.5mm threads and cuts new M20x1.5 threads in a single operation. Finish by replacing the M18 plug with the oversized Beta Tools 1495T/M20 Oversized Drain Plug and Washer Kit (Part No. BT-014950520, set of 6 plugs and 6 washers sold separately). Sold individually.
