Dial calipers bridge the gap between Vernier calipers (cheapest, most reliable, but hardest to use) and digital calipers (simplest to use but most expensive and least reliable). These dial calipers from Beta Tools feature an analog dial on a hardened stainless steel body. Dual jaws measure outside, inside, or depth. The dial reads in 0.02mm increments. Markings on the body also indicate centimeters and millimeters. The jaws can be locked in place for use as a "go-no go" gauge. The dial can be rotated to easily re-zero for accurate measurements.
