The 1658 Series micrometers from Beta Tools are designed for the most precise measuring of outside dimensions. Each full rotation of the thimble moves the spindle just 0.5mm. Fifty graduations around the thimble make it possible to measure in 0.01mm increments. The steel frame and hardened contacts enable high precision, and the measurement can be locked in place with a thumb lever for quick comparisons.
This complete kit includes all 4 sizes available in the 1658 Series:
1658/25, 0 to 25mm
1658/50, 25mm to 50mm
1658/75, 50mm to 75mm
1658/100, 75mm to 100mm
Also included are the special wrenches for calibrating and three precision reference standards (25mm, 50mm, 75mm). Everything comes packed in a protective case with a custom-fitted insert. Overall weight 2.5kg.
