Brand: Beta Tools
The 1718A8 files from Beta Tools are designed to remove material quickly, with minimal clogging. The double-cut style has diagonal ridges cut in two directions, leaving diamond-shaped teeth. The "second cut" has finer teeth than the "bastard cut" and coarser teeth than a "smooth" file. The cutting surface of each file is nominally 8" long.
Handles are available separately.
This S5 set includes one Flat (P), one Square (Q), one Triangular (T), one Half-round (M), and one Round (R) file.
Deciphering the Beta Tools Hand File Numbering System:
1718 = File with no handle (1719BM series includes handles)
A = Second Cut (D = Bastard Cut)
8 = 8 Inch nominal length
