This is the same water temperature sensor included with Davies Craig digital water pump and fan controllers including the Davies Craig LCD Pump/Fan Controller, Part No. DC8002 (and previous models DC8000, DC8001, DC8101, DC8102) and Thermatic Fan Switch model DC0445.*
1/4 NPT threaded sensor is designed for installation in the Davies Craig In-Line Sensor Adapter, Part No. DC0419 (not included). Measures 1 1/8" (28mm) from the underside of the hex to the tip of the probe. Two-terminal snap-on connector accepts the Davies Craig sensor harness.
* Note: The DC0445 Thermatic Fan Switch kit includes a special adapter harness to accept this sensor. The similar DC0444 Thermatic Fan Switch kit can also use this sensor but does not include the necessary adapter harness. For users of the DC0444 kit, we recommend the Davies Craig 1/4 NPT Thermal Sensor Upgrade Kit (Part No. DC0465), which includes the sensor as well as the adapter harness. The adapter harness is not needed with any other controller.
