Change the gearing in your Mustang for better acceleration or top end speed. This 8.8" ring and pinion set is precision-machined from high-strength alloy with a 3.73:1 final drive ratio. This is the same ring and pinion set supplied on Ford Racing World Challenge GTS class FR500S Mustangs.
The 3.73 ratio is normally recommended for 1986-95 5.0L Mustangs with automatic transmissions and 1996-2003 4.6L Mustangs with 5-speed transmissions, but engine modifications may make a different ratio a better choice for your particular application. Does not include hardware. Speedometer recalibration required. Made in USA.
