These FIA-mandated brackets are intended to prevent your fire bottle from slipping out of the mounting clamps in a hard impact. They are designed to be used with the current generation of T-bolt style bottle mounts (SP SPAT-99 through -126). The clever design fits right over the mount feet and shares the mounting bolts, so there are no new holes to drill. Simply unbolt your existing mounts and lay these brackets over them. New SPA FIA18 AFFF fire suppression systems already include these brackets. Sold in pairs, enough for one bottle.
Note: Not for use with older cradle-type mounts or with the newest SPA Technique billet mounts (SP SPAT-Bxxx).
