This black anodized aluminum AN920-style straight O-ring boss adapter is designed to fit any female -3 (3/8-24 thread) O-ring port. The other side has a standard 3AN male (3/8-24, 37° flare) fitting. A Viton (FKM) O-ring is included for the O-ring boss side. If your port is flat-faced and not chamfered for an O-ring, you can remove the O-ring and use a crush washer instead. Conforms to JIC and SAE specifications (SAE J514, 070120).
Note 1: If this item is out of stock, we normally stock a Steel 3AN to 3/8-24 Adapter (Part No. 3265-26). The steel fitting requires a crush washer (sold separately) and does not include an O-ring.
Note 2: The Viton O-ring included with this adapter is suitable for use in most automotive oiling systems (including transmission and differential). The 3265-26 steel adapter would be suitable in any system, but it is especially preferred for brake systems.
