This direct-acting throwout bearing eliminates all lost motion due to cable stretch or linkage flex. The compact size (just 2.77" - 2.82" high, 3" x 3-bolt circle) makes it small enough to be adapted to almost any transmission including larger Hewland and Weismann units. Most applications will require fabrication of an adapter plate.
The radius-faced bearing has a 44mm contact diameter for clutches with a 1 5/8" diameter diaphragm spring hole. This includes most QuarterMaster 4.5", 5.5", and 7.25" racing clutches (except 7.25" LGC) and Tilton OT-II (7.25") Racing Clutches.
This version is designed for an overall height of 2.82" (71.6mm), but removing a shim under the bearing will reduce the height to 2.77" (70.4mm). Maximum travel is 0.70 inches, so a clutch pedal stop must be used to prevent damage to the clutch and the engine. Tilton recommends pairing this assembly with a 3/4" bore master cylinder (sold separately). Includes 3AN male adapters for inlet and outlet.
