These super-strong Tenzalloy (713 alloy) uprights are based on the design used on the 1985 Reynard Formula Ford. They have been redesigned and strengthened for use on heavier cars with larger tires (FF2000, S2000, CSR), yet they still weigh just 4.25 pounds.
Hundreds of these units have been in service since 1990 with no casting failures (despite a couple of concrete barrier incidents). They have been in use for many years by the Bridgestone Racing School as well as on the Aero FF (AIM Autosport's winningest Canadian FF for several years). This upright can be used as the basis for original construction on P2, FB, and FSAE cars. Sold individually.
One upright will fit front or rear, left or right, so just one spare will cover all four corners!
