To prevent spilling fluids on the track, most sanctioning bodies require transmission/transaxle breather vents to be routed into a catch bottle. This extra-small tank is expertly fabricated from 0.080" aluminum and covered in the tough obp Motorsport "Dark Matter" matte black coating for a stealth look.
Two 1/2" OD hose barbs (one on the front, one on the left side) allow easy hookup, and a third 1/2" OD barb on top accepts a hose or breather filter (sold separately). An M10x1.25 plug is provided on the bottom for draining the tank. The 0.5 liter (17 oz, 1 pint) capacity tank measures 90mm OD x 90mm tall (3.5") not including fittings. A 4-bolt flange on the back makes it easy to mount to a bulkhead or fender.
Note: The 17 ounce capacity does not meet SCCA requirements for a 1 quart catch tank.
