If you need a high-efficiency air filter for velocity stacks but no other filtering options seem to work, the ITG trumpet socks may just save the day!
This foam filter is constructed of the same 3-stage foam as ITG Megaflow filters, but shaped as a tube to slip over your air horns. There is no rigid base plate or frame to take up space, and the foam can be deformed to fit in tight spots.
This Dual size has an oval base that measures 85mm Wide x 175mm Long and measures 120mm High overall (3.35" Wide x 6.89" Long x 4.72" Long). Two 42mm (1 5/8") holes in the bottom are spaced 90mm apart to fit Weber 40 / 45 DCOE and similar.* Sold individually (one filter fits one dual-throat carburetor).
Note: ITG Trumpet Sock filters are intended for use only when no other filter will fit. You may need to do some modifications to minimize unfiltered air leaking around the openings.
* The 42mm OD fits 40 DCOE air horns. 45 DCOE horns will require trimming to fit.
